Cliff Hudson did a tour in Iraq as a marine infantry squad leader. He is currently touring the country, promoting his own brand of New-Country. Cliff is featured on To The Fallen Records Presents: Country Vol. 1 with his song "Send My Love", a beautiful song he wrote in Iraq that was dedicated to his wife back home and is slated to be featured on TTFR Presents: Country Vol. 2 that comes out later this summer. Each of you can support Cliff and all To The Fallen Records military artists online at www.tothefallenrecords.com.
"I began writing, playing and singing when I was 21. I wrote four of my songs in Ramadi, and the rest have come as sort of a therapy in the past year since I returned home. The situation I was in had the fortunate outcome of giving me one hell of a level of appreciation for life and music, and I think that shows itself in the songs I write. Mostly I want to simply try and convey the joy in feeling the air in your lungs--everything else is workable. I met up with my band through Rick, my brother-in-law. They are in a well-established band called Tragikly White out of Little Rock, and all these guys have thrown themselves into this for nothing more than the fact that this is a story that has to be told. I have upcoming gigs in both Baltimore and the Little Rock area, and I have previously played KHTV's Morning Show in Little Rock, AR and Springfest in Fayetteville, AR."
