Outlaw Dave

Outlaw Dave is a future Texas radio hall of fame broadcaster who returned to Houston's airwaves in 2008, not as Houston's rock 'n' roll ambassador, but as Houston's voice of reason on the highly rated radio Mojo 950's midday programming. Outlaw Dave makes a point to give back to the community that has given him and his family so much.

The focus of Outlaw Dave's new radio presence is local and live radio with an emphasis on stewardship and issues that directly affect his audience couched in a proactive stance of participation.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Outlaw Dave spent most of his time in the 11th ACR in Fulda, Germany. He utilized his G.I. Bill to double major in psychology and mass communications at The University of Houston and went on to become a rock 'n' roll hell-raiser on the famous KLOL during the 80's and 90's. Holding down stints at radio stations in Dallas and San Antonio he was syndicated at one time by ABC Radio Networks across the U.S. in over 50 markets. Outlaw Dave prefers local radio where his ministrations can have a direct impact on the community that he serves. Still the life of the party, Outlaw Dave focuses a lot of his program on charity work and positivism because he feels the more we marshal ourselves towards a positive end the more we all benefit.
